Alvear, Bondi & d'incise consists of Cristián Alvear from Chile, and Cyril Bondi and d'incise from Switzerland. The three musicians collaborate frequently in duo and trio formats.

This album documents a duo performance by Alvear (guitar) and d’incise (vibraphone, electronics) of “Sleepless Night” (2022), a work by Spanish composer/sound artist Clara de Asís; and a trio performance by Alvear (guitar), Bondi (vibraphone) and d’incise (electronics) of “uno, dos o tres en una pieza para cuatro” (2016), by the Chilean composer Santiago Astaburuaga. Recorded in May 2023, both performances effectively weave together the straightforward sounds of guitar, vibraphone and electronics, resulting in works of indescribable beauty.

Alvear, Bondi & d'incise は、チリの Cristián Alvear と、スイスのふたり Cyril Bondi と d'incise の３人。この3人はデュオやトリオで頻繁にコラボレーションをおこなっている。

本アルバムは、Cristián Alvear (ギター) と d'incise (ヴィブラフォン、エレクトロニクス) のデュオによる、スペイン出身の作曲家 / サウンド・アーティスト Clara de Asis 作曲「Sleepless Night」(2022年) の演奏と、チリの作曲家 Santiago Astaburuaga 作曲「uno, dos o tres en una pieza para cuatro」(2016年) の Alvear (ギター)、Bondi (ヴィブラフォン)、d'incise (エレクトロニクス) のトリオによる演奏の2曲 (2023年5月録音) を収録。両演奏とも、ギター、ヴィブラフォン、エレクトロニクスのシンプルな三つの音が織りなす様が効果的で、えも言われぬ美しさを醸し出している。
