Performed live on the 16th of November 2022 at Stadtgarten Köln /
Europäisches Zentrum für Jazz und aktuelle Musik, Cologne, Germany, as part of the series "In Between Spaces," curated by Thomas Gläßer and organized by Zentrum für Aktuelle Musik ZAM e.V.
Texts by Al-Hallaj, who was born March 26th, 858 AD (244 H.) in Fars, Persia, and was executed March 26th, 922 AD (309 H.) in Baghdad, Iraq. The name of the piece is taken from another Sufi poet and mystic, Jalal al-Din Muhammad Rumi (30 September 1207 - 17 December 1273, Persia). The poem is called "He who needs mercy finds it."
Rahma Quartet は2022年11月16日、ドイツ、ケルンでの "In Between Spaces" コンサート・シリーズで「Mercy is called down by Mercy to the last」を演奏。
